AgriTourism: Harvesting In the Cranberry Bog

First, since this is publishing on Thanksgiving Day here in America, I wanted to wish all my fellow Americans

Happy Thanksgiving!

I couldn’t let this month go by with our spotlight on cranberries without mentioning a most exciting experience that I found! One that, to me, seems to be a perfect way to experience a taste of history and agriculture.
AgriTourism is a huge and growing business. It is defined as an agriculturally based operation or activity that brings visitors to a farm or ranch. Not only to you get to enjoy an amazing vacation somewhere where you may have never been, you also get to experience a little bit of the culture through agriculture and food!
When I was researching for this month’s theme about cranberries, I stumbled upon a uniquely American and New England activity. If you are interested, you can visit and harvest in a Cranberry Bog in Massachusetts!
