Grandma’s Recipes – Hot Spiced Lemonade

Lemonade has always been a popular drink. The recipe intrigued me when I first found it since I had never heard of hot lemonade before! I’ve used hot lemon-water for allergies and a sore throat though so I wondered if it would taste similar.

It was actually much better! The lemonade was not too sweet and not to spicy either. It had a very comforting quality and actually tasted better after letting it sit for awhile. Also, as my grandmother’s recipe says, it is very good cold as well. So, if it cools off a little before you are ready to serve it, it will still taste wonderful! This recipe could be easily scaled up or down depending on the amount you needed.
